I love the smell of good laundry. However, I never can get that really strong laundry smell like some people and I’ll even use tide and liquid softner…Are there any tricks to making your laundry smell good? What are the best ones to buy? Is it possible my washer and dryer just suck out the good smell lol..cuz there a lil old?
Other than the standard green color, what are some paint colors and decorating themes I could use in my poker room?
I’ve tried the most expensive laundry soaps, softers, color guards, etc., but my laundry still fades….what’s the deal? I have to stay with powdered soap and liquid softener because of how it reacts to my body chemicals. Any suggestions?
I am responsible for maintaining my grandmothers LARGE garden for the next week. She left one day ago and already some of the flowers look like they’re dying.
A few of them appear to droop and look to be curling up and hardening. I believe she watered them before she left and I watered them again in the evening. The next morning I watered them, then watered them again in the evening. The temperatures been around 90 degrees and about half of the plants are hanging on pots above the fence while the others are in the ground.
The garden is about three feet wide but goes all around the perimiter of the yard and there is a ton of stuff. I usually run the water right where the plants roots are for about ten seconds then move to the next plant, the whole routine usually takes me 45minutes. Unfortunetly these plants aren’t looking too good and she will be very disappointed if she returns home to dead plants.
Any tips on how I can keep them alive?
Its been raining the past few days and all of a sudden there are tons of flies in my vegetable garden! They don’t seem to be flying around the dog poop much, but more towards the vegetable garden. How do I get rid of the flies without damaging my vegies, preferably without using harmful chemicals?
I am cleaning my kitchen right now and am having a very hard time getting the walls/floor clean next to the oven. Food stains, grease stains, etc….it doesn’t want to come off.
I am using a heavy cleaner (from Lysol) and letting it soak in for a bit before I try and clean. But nothing is working.
Does anyone have advice on what to use – or a mixture of household ingredients to use to get my painted kitchen walls clean?

Hey, i recently bought 2 corsets for 2 different occasions (the kind you can wear out to parties not the sleepwar) and it says dry clean only and i never dry cleaned anything before… is it really important to dry clean? How much does dry cleaning cost and how often do you dry clean? Thanks.
I bought a new house and the basement is only 6ft high. I want to try and make a liveable area down there. Does anyone have any decorating tips? I don’t want people to feel chlosterphobic while they’re down there! =)
I live in NC and I’d like to start a small flower garden in front of my home. It’s in an area that gets sunlight periodically during the day. I believe there used to be flowers there because there’s a decorative brick border around the area but it’s overrun with weeds and there are no flowers there now. The soil is pretty good I’d say…not too dry or hard. How do I start a flower garden? I’m interested in some periennials and some annuals…can those be grown together?
We currently only do 3 Full loads a week. But our roomates, another couple who do their laundry together have been doing laundry about 5 times a week. Just wanted to see how many loads of laundry other couples do per week before we ask them to cut back on all the water.
